Penis Pumps

A pump uses suction to draw blood into the penis, which produces a temporary increase in girth and firmness during and shortly after a session. That effect is not permanent, and any product or page that promises otherwise is overselling. What a good pump does give you is control: a cylinder that seals properly, a release valve you can reach without fumbling, and a pressure you can repeat comfortably.

Air pumps are the simpler option. Water pumps, like the Bathmate range, use warm water in the cylinder for a more even seal and a gentler feel, and they need to be used in the bath or shower. A gauge is worth having if you want to work at the same pressure each time; without one you go entirely by feel, which is fine as long as the rule is never painful.

Keep sessions short, fifteen to twenty minutes, and release the pressure at the first sign of discomfort. Do not use a pump if you have a heart condition, a blood-clotting disorder, sickle cell trait or disease, or if you take blood thinners, without asking a doctor first. Clean the cylinder and the seal after every use with warm water and toy cleaner, and check the seal for splits before you rely on it.
